spars, rigging Empty
PostSubject: spars, rigging   spars, rigging I_icon_minitimeWed 18 Mar 2015, 19:48

how many guys does it take to step a bowsprit and a jiboom and then rig all the stays? (no seriously) topsail schooner with about 50' of headrig... i'm almost thinking i can rig the bowsprit before i get to yard. but how do i get the jiboom out there?

also wondering what the most logical order of rigging the stays would be... probably secure the jiboom to the bowsprit with the cap, etc. then whisker stays, jibstays next? and then bobstays?
